We the People In Truth is a grassroots organization based in Northern Michigan working to support individuals and families impacted by immigration enforcement discrimination through education, advocacy, and community safety initiatives. Our goal is simple: ensure that every neighbor has access to clear information, trusted resources, and a supportive community.
Our Story
We the People In Truth began in 2026 as a grassroots community effort led by people who wanted to ensure that neighbors facing uncertainty had access to clear information and support.
Across the country, families often face immigration enforcement situations without knowing their rights or where to find help. In many communities, especially rural areas, accessible information can be difficult to find.
Our organization was created to help close that gap by providing educational materials, community safety guides, and connections to trusted resources.
What We Believe
We believe that informed communities are stronger communities.
When neighbors understand their rights and have access to trusted information, they are better able to protect themselves, support one another, and navigate difficult situations with confidence.
Knowledge is protection.
